What to expect when building a website with Ramp Up Digital.
We primarily build on WordPress with Astra theme and Gutenberg — it’s fast, flexible, SEO-friendly, and gives you full control after handover. For e-commerce we use Shopify. We can also work on Squarespace if that’s where you’re already set up. We don’t build on Wix or closed platforms that lock you in.
Yes — a full rebuild is often the better option if your existing site is outdated, slow, or built on a platform that’s hard to work with. We’ll audit your current site first and give you an honest recommendation on whether a rebuild or a refresh makes more sense for your situation and budget.
You’ll need to provide the core information about your business — services, team, story, images. We’ll help you structure it and advise on what’s needed for each page. If you need professional copywriting we offer that as an add-on from $799 for up to 4 pages.
Yes — every site we build has on-page SEO configured from day one (title tags, meta descriptions, headings, schema markup, sitemap, and Search Console submission). If you’re running Google Ads, we’ll also build a dedicated landing page and ensure conversion tracking is set up correctly so your campaigns have a proper destination to send traffic to.
Your site is hosted on your own hosting account — not ours. We recommend Kinsta or SiteGround for WordPress sites. If you already have hosting we’ll work with that. You own the hosting account, the domain, and the site files. If you ever leave, you take everything with you — we never hold your website hostage.
Most builds take 4–6 weeks from brief to launch. The biggest variable is how quickly you can provide content, images, and feedback. We work on a staged review process so you’re never waiting long between updates. Rush builds (2–3 weeks) are available for an additional fee.
